What are you eating and drinking in lockdown? What’s on your room-service menu today?
While I do miss the endless luxury and pampering that comes with the hotel room, for now room service in my own bed will have to do. I brought myself room service today. And then decided to use my balcony to get a tan.

What did you usually do on Sunday evenings before Covid-19?
What are you doing today?
Sundays for me were a Sunset Party and then a movie 🎥 or a play in a theater and then dinner at a restaurant. All 3 a challenge in corona times.
What will Sunday evenings be like now? What’s post covid Sunday evenings looking like to you?
PS I am in Bali in the photos !

What qualities of your mother do you have in you? What is the best gift your mother has given you?
I have my mother’s drive. When my mother decides to do something, she gets it done. I remember countless times as a kid sitting in the BMC office with my mom as she waited to speak to an officer because there was garbage outside our building or the road was being dug up. And she would get it fixed.
Dad would ask her, where you going? She would say, “I’m going out.” And then we would be in the BMC office for hours until the job was done 😂
Mom stopped working when Tina and I were young but as soon as I was in the sixth standard she decided she was going to work again. Everyone told her she had been out of the work force too long. She didn’t listen. She started helping out in my school in the drama class and soon got a job in my school as a drama teacher for the primary section. From there she went on to be the most loved drama teacher in Bandra ( my neighbourhood) where she taught in many schools.
Not only did mom work, but she also cooked for the entire family including my grand-parents. We were in a joint family at the time.
Even now with Covid19, I keep telling her,”mom, let me order food for you guys”, but she refuses and she says if I don’t cook I will forget and she’s up at 8 am and in the kitchen.
She’s not just a hard worker and determined, she also has every hair in place at all times, nails done, beautiful outfit on. This quality I may not have from her 😂
But I have the – determination to win! The resilience. I will fall down but I will pick myself up and start again. This I feel is the best gift I could get. Thank you mom ❤️ My moms mantra- nothing is impossible. The word “impossible” doesn’t exist in her dictionary and therefore doesn’t exist in mine.
Mom you are a winner!
And
I love you! This is just one of your amazing qualities.
But the one I treasure the most because this quality is in me and I have achieved everything I have in life because I have this little bit of you- in me 🙂 Happy Mother’s Day!

The dreaded question ~What skill did you learn in lockdown? I have a confession to make-i can jump off planes but i never could ride a bike and this lockdown while my nephew cycled around i decided i was going to learn cycling as an adult. I bought a cycle, watched a few YouTube videos on balance and i am so Proud to say i can cycle now. I was always embarrassed about this. Today i am taking you to Copenhagen Denmark, a Cycling city. I cant wait to go back and this time i will shred the the streets and not just pose with the bike. I travelled here 3 years ago. This was the first tourism board who reached out to me and invited me. I’m working on the Vlog. #travelwithshenaz @visitcopenhagen Copenhagen, Dennmark

The voice in the background is the voice of my ex boyfriend. Flashback to 3 years ago when I was starting my career as a travel content creator. My ex lost his job. I was done with auditions. I wanted to travel the world and so did he. We had this brilliant idea, we would travel the world together, I was good at making videos, talking on camera, he was good at shooting and together we would find a way and travel the world together and live our dream life. We had no idea how we could make money out of this but he had a business mind and I was sure together we could crack it. This was our first trip.
Soon after- I found out that he had another girlfriend and so we decided to end our relationship.
Since then, I’ve been shooting my own videos and brands found a way to me and now I do all that we planned together solo. I was going through this footage and thought, hey we had some fun times and decided to go ahead and post this video. No regrets, no hard feelings. We all have our journeys. So cheers to all our exes – who made us who we are today! This one may have been the biggest shock and heartbreak but it made me so much stronger and 100 percent independent. I now shoot my own videos and travel around the world by myself. Big cheers to that!! Although when I see insta couples I still sometimes feel a little sad not cause I miss him but I think wow- wouldn’t it be great to have a partner who is so much fun and l enjoy and we can run around the globe together?! Well, until then- drink some glogg and leave a comment ❤️ to love and heartbreak. They don’t come separately. Or at least I haven’t experienced that yet 🙂 xxxx okay enough #travelwithshenaz #travelhotelsmiles @visitcopenhagen @visitscandinavia

Shocked to hear that after the bois locker room was exposed, another group of young boys in Kolkata sharing semi-nudes of their female classmates has also shown up. Instead of saying #notallmen, maybe we should say: I’m sorry for the men who treated you wrongly, I’ll make sure I never will.
Girls I want to hear your opinion and take on this. Boys, what are you doing to make girls feel safer in this environment?
