Keith David Instagram – Continuing my walk down memory lane as we approach tonight’s @greenleafown series finale…
A rare situation is when those of us playing a dysfunctional family don’t get caught up in that energy and manage to maintain healthy, growing, professional and personal relationships. Such has been my experience with my #Greenleaf family.
My favorite scenes were with all of us together, but I absolutely adored working with each of these wonderful folk, individually. Each opportunity was a chance to live through the specificity of each relationship.
I loved my scenes with @lammanruckerofficial/Jacob because we don’t have enough examples of the importance of father/son relationships.
Having two daughters who couldn’t be more different, getting to show my love for @deborahjoywinans/Charity and Gigi/@merledandridge not only warmed my heart on camera, but taught me how to behave at home.
Getting to work on and work out challenges with @mslynnwhitfield/Lady Mae really taught me how to navigate some things with my real life First Lady.
