Michael Bearden Instagram – I was going to post another photo of me and MJ today (I’ve posted this one before) but, something I heard @realchriswebber say amidst the @nba boycott resonated with me. He said, you can’t be it until you see it! ⠀ As a young black boy growing up on the south side of Chicago, it was important for me to see someone that looked like me doing what I aspired to do. Image matters so much! ⠀ There’s no possible way I could’ve known I’d grow up to work with one who inspired me. How could I?⠀ I do know that I can help inspire others who look like me, to rise into their own greatness! ⠀ I miss MJ! Just the convos alone were deep.
