Gloria Steinem Instagram – Hope and common sense will meet in Florida this November.

The Republican state legislature continues to deny the existence of climate change as hurricane after hurricane destroys homes and churches, and as barges wash up on front yards.

The overwhelming majority of Floridians voted to restore the voting rights of the formerly incarcerated. In response, Republican state legislators undermined their own constituents by requiring former felons to pay off all court fees and fines in order to vote.

The pattern is clear. It extends to healthcare, to gun laws, and to reproductive rights.

The choice is also clear. It begins with your vote and the candidates below.

@pashaforfl – An entrepreneur and business leader focused on ending corruption and passionate about increasing energy independence, improving air quality, and creating new jobs in Florida.

@johnson4fl – An environmentalist and current representative working to expand access to quality public education.

@franccesca4fl – A dedicated community servant and mentor aiming to fix unemployment assistance and pass common sense gun laws.

@maureenfor105 – An immigration attorney fighting for criminal justice reform, reproductive rights, and immigrant rights.

@ennekingforflorida – A doctor and community leader advocating for Medicaid expansion, better funding for public education, and investment in clean energy.
