Got my locks down just in time for Lockdown. Thank you to the amazing @bec_blissett_hairstylist for the yummiest chop for my new role. Also a huge thank you to Melbourne for welcoming me with open arms and then literally closing every single thing down. #stillloveyabut
Isolation birthday this year. Day 3 of 14. But what a day it’s been already. Music was played, living room boogies were had, deliveries of flowers, coffee and cake were dropped at my door, rubbish was generously taken out for me coz my bins are literally in another suburb, FaceTimes were happening, texts were pinging, online birthday purchase codes were redeemed and the best bit is, I didn’t have to wear a bra for any of it. This self portrait was taken when I had just tried to make a birthday wish but realised I actually have everything I could ever want right now…except more cake…so I might UberEats it.
Hanging out with my household furniture and appliances for 9 weeks really took a toll on my skin. Thanks to @aspectskin @aspectdrskin I was able to bring it bursting back to life, ready to face the world again and by that I mean continue to lay on my couch and watch Netflix.
To all of my lady loves who nominated me. Challenge accepted. #womensupportingwomen

Got a glimpse last night of the beautiful (unfinished) portrait being submitted for the (postponed) Archibald Prize by (exceptionally talented) Kyle Torney @kyletorneyart Pretty classy decision by the @archibaldprize to postpone the competition – so we can all eventually experience the paintings IRL as intended Until then here’s a little image of the image that is still a WIP #workinprogress #archibaldprize #inreallife #kyletorneyart

World be like…
Day 12 of 14 ⚪️
“And in the midst of this terrible despair, it offers us a chance to re-think this doomsday device we have built for ourselves. Nothing could be worse than a return to normality. Historically pandemics have forced humans to break with the past and reimagine their world anew. This one is no different. It is a portal, a gateway between one world and the next. We can choose to walk through it dragging the carcasses of our prejudice and hatred, our avarice, our data banks and dead ideas, our dead rivers and smoky skies behind us. Or we can walk through lightly, with little luggage, ready to imagine another world. And ready to fight for it” – Arundhati Roy Quote via @__nitch Art by @dappermouth
