Today is National Voter Registration day, as you know it’s a matter I care deeply about. On this day, I want to encourage us to help those voters in Florida who may be challenged by their state’s pay-to-vote system, meaning formerly convicted individuals are faced with fees & fines before they can register, and many can’t afford those. I recently learned that there are over 18million previously incarcerated people who are eligible to vote. Let’s do what we can to give them back that right. I’ll be donating to wegotthevote.org/freethevote, join me ?
Oh, and don’t forget to get YOUR registration in. Vote however you want, just make sure your voice is heard.

Hey everyone. I got a passionate reaction to my encouragement to get out and vote in this election. Some of you assumed that I was soliciting for one candidate over another. I’m not. Truly. We don’t have to always agree – or even say who we’re voting for. The only really important thing is that we vote. It’s the most effective way to be heard.
