Cherami Leigh Instagram – I will always remember this day. Exactly where I was and exactly how I felt. When you’re so young and you see so many grown ups terrified and unable to keep the tears at bay- you feel helpless and hopeless. But I remember seeing footage of the first responders- people just like you and me- and their actions were absolutely heroic. They were fearless, they acted out of love and compassion and empathy for humanity without a second thought. It was and it still is astounding.
