Remembering today in 2018 when #Manto was released in India. Daughters of Manto were here for the premiere as were many other friends and well wishers, across 5 cities. Meet the Artist is a permanent in-house program of @jdcentreofart , where painters, sculptors, potters, architects, photographers, craft persons or an art scholar is invited to enrich, sensitise and create an appreciation for the visual arts. Since 2001, 237 such MTAs have taken place on the second Saturday of every month. We have restarted it online with a conversation with Mr. Adwaita Charan Gadanayak, sculptor and Director-General of the National Gallery of Modern Arts.
