It’s been roughly 1 year, 9 months and 8 days since I’ve been able to exercise. Not just in a gym—AT ALL. The way my body kept its form is truly a testament to the incredible shape I was in before I fell ill (see #fitnikkidee). When my intestines started twisting, I was in THE BEST SHAPE OF MY LIFE! In fact, I thought the pain was just a pulled muscle. Now, after 3 surgeries, I am withered down to the smallest I’ve ever been—but I’m thrilled to start my fitness journey all over with the help of my awesome trainer, @performfitness_.
