Regina Hall Instagram – This weeks #WCW is dedicated to Kiersten Black (@Blake.creates), also known as Blake, Kier, or Kier-Bear. 

Kiersten is an aspiring author, recent @NYU graduate & co-founder of Start: Empowerment (@start.empowerment) a youth-led #nonprofit that seeks to revolutionize education and prepare students to become changemakers by bringing awareness to #environmental and #SocialJustice initiatives and issues, both past and present, and aid in the further integration of these interrelated justice matters in the everyday actions of participants.

She co-founded @start.empowerment after working on various #HumanRights advocacy, organizational #sustainability, and education policy projects and initiatives in the Middle East and East Africa. Through Start: Empowerment, and her personal platforms, Kiersten is working to tackle #ClimateChange and address its root cause, while educating the U.S population and inspiring others to take action.
