Regina Hall Instagram – This week my #WCW is Frances A. Pérez-Rodríguez, aka @freedomfransorants. Born in Puerto Rico and raised in New York 🇵🇷🏙 Frances has dedicated her career to making sure everyone has access to nutritious, sustainably grown food. Frances prides herself on being @wokefoods Food & Land Education Coordinator, @RiseAndRootFarm’s market manager, and a member of @LaFincaDelSur Community Farm (The farm of the South) where she grows produce and herbs, and assists with culturally-relevant programming centered around #UrbanAgriculture, #FoodSovereignty, and healing with herbalism, political education, and the ability to reimagine our world. A daughter, a youth leader, a #CommunityOrganizer, and above all, seeker of truths, Frances is deeply inspired by the reality of maintaining a healthy relationship with the planet and with one another through connecting with and freeing the land.
