Kris Aquino Instagram – i was sent the high resolution copy of the @shopee_ph TVC that will start airing by sunrise… and i realized i cannot move forward without looking back & saying THANK YOU… @chitorono & @starcinema, Feng Shui will always be the movie that gave my acting career a new direction & for me even after 16 years, it remains my most iconic movie- thank you for allowing @shopee_ph to buy the intellectual property rights so that my comeback commercial would be a BRIDGE from what is nostalgic to what is the new normal… Even my last line in the commercial is inspired by 1 of the phrases popularized either in my 1st game show or Boy’s & my 1st late night talk show on ABS-CBN. i am who i am as a media personality because i grew up over a span of 20 years in ABS-CBN… BUT i was 16 years old when i started fulfilling my acting dreams when Mother Lily of Regal Films gave me the opportunity to have a limited run series on Mother Studio Presents, and it was Tita Inday Badiday who gave a 14 year old me my first full length interview in 1986- both of those happened on GMA 7. And i was a few weeks away from giving birth to kuya josh when they took the risk of signing me to a contract to host Star Talk with Nay @akosilolitsolis & Boy Abunda. That was 25 years ago this month. it’s not my place to say what will happen on 11/11, i am proud to be the face of @shopee_ph for a whole year, so whatever press releases you may read, please be like me & just embrace these lyrics- “it seems believing is worth the wait, so hold me and tell me it’s not too late, we’re so good together, we’re starting FOREVER now” – if it isn’t this 11/11, there’s still 12/12, 1/1, or what about 2/14?
