While the last months have been difficult for all of us, I wanted to use this day to remind myself of what I am most grateful for: having my wonderful husband Erwin by my side. Filmed in Los Angeles, this is the first music video that was shot for the now legendary song. However, once it was finished the record label at the time considered this version to be too downbeat for the song, so the video we all know and love today was created instead.

Am I sharing too much about my relationship, my health, my doubts and worries? But I had hoped that my happy ending would show others: You will get through whatever life throws at you! Since then, so many of you told me how my story helped you in your lives and I can’t tell you how happy that makes me!
