I’ve been meaning to post this over a month ago, but I’m not extremely active on Instagram and I’m not obsessively interested in posting about myself. Hahaha! Anyway, I want to give a shout out to the Squad in episode 7 x 7, “The Totally Excellent Adventures of Mack and The D”. All of them did a heck of a job in the episode, but more important they are all wonderful people! Just want to give them some love. @tippernewton @joleneandersen @yuantwins @ryandonowho

TONIGHT!!! Agents Of SHIELD episode 7 of the final season. The episode is titled, “The Totally Excellent Adventures of Mack and the D”. Yeah……I know…..that title can mean something COMPLETELY different. 😄😆😄 Anyway, this is one of my favorite episodes and the most fun I’ve worked on. It’s unlike any episode we’ve done in the entire series. I have to give a shout-out to @jessebochco with his fantastic directing (as always), and #BrentFletcher for writing one heck of an episode!! If you can’t tell already……I LOVE it! #EightiesOverloadComingAtYa #agentsofshield 10/9c ABC
John Lewis was a great man, and a true hero….he will be missed. He made this country and this world a better place. The son of Alabama sharecroppers, Lewis served in Congress for more than three decades, pushing the causes he championed as an original Freedom Rider challenging segregation, discrimination and injustice in the Deep South – issues reverberating today in the Black Lives Matter movement. Along with Martin Luther King Jr., he was an organizer of the March on Washington in 1963, a seminal moment in the Civil Rights Movement that led to the passage of voting rights for Black people two years later. He became a community activist and member of the Atlanta City Council before winning a seat in Congress in 1986. He would go on to become a best-selling author and in 2011 was awarded the nation’s highest civilian award, the Presidential Medal of Freedom, by Barack Obama, the nation’s first Black president. Lewis was elected to his 17th term in November 2018. Thank you sir. Rest in peace. #goodtrouble #JohnLewis

The repost below is lengthy, but vitally important. Please take the time to read it, and please take action. Thank you, and may God bless you!! ***********REPOST************* @findvanessaguillen Five Things you can do to help specialist Vanessa Guillen! Please use your voice, we all have a voice, we can be Vanessa’s voice, voice to the voiceless! Keep demanding the congressional investigation and the legislation #iamvanessaguillen bill to passed! Vanessa Guillen was sexually harassed multiple times, she did not report it because of being afraid of retaliation, afraid to speak up because 80% of the time the sexual allegations come from someone in the unit-superiors! Our service members should be respected, heard, and be safe while being in base. Some armed forces members do report it, yet the military takes the sexual allegations as a joke, then soldiers never get heard that’s why other never report it! The U.S Army should not tolerate sexual harassment and assault, yet the U.S Army does because sexual harassment went excessive with Vanessa Guillen. There is injustice because how can this happen on Fort Hood Army Base, the slow investigation from CID, how the army and cid took the case is a disgrace, how can the leadership not hear or saw anything, how can they tolerate sexual allegations. What happen with Vanessa should have never happen and should never happen again. Vanessa Guillen did not leave, because Vanessa will forever be in our minds and hearts! Vanessa will be remembered! Say her name #vanessaguillen ! Please keep sharing, keep demanding the congressional investigation help the Guillen Family obtain justice, factual answers, and the legislation pass for Vanessa Guillen! She is a human, a women, a Latina, a grandchild, a daughter, a sister, a friend, a teammate, a solider and more! She’s everyone’s daughter and friend, because her story has touched many people’s hearts and keep it should keep spreading! Because we are Vanessa’s army now, we are not going to stop, we are not going to silent and we will keep fighting! We are her voice, we are Vanessa Guillen! #justiceforvanessa #wearevanessaguillen #justiceforvanessaguillen

More than 100 days ago a division of the Louisville Police Department performed an illegal, unannounced drug raid on Breonna Taylor’s home. Not a single officer announced themselves before ramming down her door and firing 22 shots, shooting Breonna 8 times, killing her. Not only were the police at the WRONG HOUSE, but the man they were looking for had already been arrested earlier that day. . Since then, one officer has been fired. None have been arrested. Two are still being paid. . Here’s how you can demand justice for Breonna Taylor: . . . ☎️ 502-735-1784 to demand justice 📧 Tell AG Daniel Cameron to charge everyone involved in her murder 📨 Get Sen. I LOVE this!! I jumped out of my seat and hollered when I first heard this! It fills my heart with so much joy. My little Loves are already singing this song. ❤️ “This song is about self-definition and how we define each other. There’s a difference between identifying with something, and identifying as something.” I am not my hair, I am not this skin, I am not your expectations….I am the soul that lives within! YES!!! ~ THANK YOU @indiaarie ~ And thank you @laineywill for posting this. ************************************* indiaarie For @rolandsmartin online show today!! ~ Thank you again @joelcross.music //who not only played guitar but produced this video. ******edited REPOST************* Did you know that three Black women; Alicia Garza , Patrisse Cullors, and Opal Tometi started Black Lives Matter? Black women have stood on the front lines of fighting for justice throughout history for civil rights, suffrage, Stonewall, and the Me Too movement….but their contributions have been overlooked and they haven’t gotten their due. @trevornoah does a great job of giving us a little insight. @thedailyshow @osopepatrisse @chasinggarza @opalayo #ThankYouBlackWomen #OverlookedNoMore
HAPPY BIRTHDAY James Baldwin! *******************REPOST****************** @__nitch James Baldwin // “I left this country for one reason only, one reason. I didn’t care where I went…I ended up on the streets of Paris with $40 in my pocket on the theory that nothing worse could happen to me there than what had already happened to me here. You talk about making it as a writer by yourself, you had to be able then to turn off all the antennas with which you live because once you turn your back on this society, you may die. You may die. And it’s very hard to sit at a typewriter and concentrate on that if you’re afraid of the world around you. The years I lived in Paris did one thing for me, they released me from that particular social terror which was not the paranoia of my own mind, but a real social danger visible in the face of every cop, every boss, everybody… I don’t know what most white people in this country feel, but I can only conclude what they feel from the state of their institutions… You want me to make an act of faith risking myself, my wife, my woman, my sister, my children on some idealism which you assure me exists in America which I have never seen.” #JamesBaldwin #ThankYouJamesBaldwin #HappyBirthdayJamesBaldwin
