Please use your voice, we all have a voice, we can be Vanessa’s voice, voice to the voiceless!
Keep demanding the congressional investigation and the legislation #iamvanessaguillen bill to passed! Vanessa Guillen was sexually harassed multiple times, she did not report it because of being afraid of retaliation, afraid to speak up because 80% of the time the sexual allegations come from someone in the unit-superiors! Our service members should be respected, heard, and be safe while being in base. Some armed forces members do report it, yet the military takes the sexual allegations as a joke, then soldiers never get heard that’s why other never report it! The U.S Army should not tolerate sexual harassment and assault, yet the U.S Army does because sexual harassment went excessive with Vanessa Guillen. There is injustice because how can this happen on Fort Hood Army Base, the slow investigation from CID, how the army and cid took the case is a disgrace, how can the leadership not hear or saw anything, how can they tolerate sexual allegations. What happen with Vanessa should have never happen and should never happen again. Vanessa Guillen did not leave, because Vanessa will forever be in our minds and hearts! Vanessa will be remembered!

She is a human, a women, a Latina, a grandchild, a daughter, a sister, a friend, a teammate, a solider and more! She’s everyone’s daughter and friend, because her story has touched many people’s hearts and keep it should keep spreading! Because we are Vanessa’s army now, we are not going to stop, we are not going to silent and we will keep fighting!
