നെയ്യാറ്റിൻകരയിൽ ദമ്പതികൾ തീ കൊളുത്തി മരിച്ചതു ബന്ധപ്പെട്ട തർക്കഭൂമിയും വീടും ഉടമയ്ക്ക് വില കൊടുത്ത് ബോബി ചെമ്മണ്ണൂർ വാങ്ങി. ഇന്ന് രാവിലെ എഗ്രിമെൻ്റ് എഴുതിക്കഴിഞ്ഞു. ഇന്ന് വൈകുന്നേരം 5.30ന് ദമ്പതികൾ മരിച്ച വീട്ടിൽ വച്ച് ബോബി ചെമ്മണ്ണൂർ എഗ്രിമെൻ്റ് ദമ്പതികളുടെ മക്കൾക്ക് കൈമാറും. വീട് ഉടൻ പുതുക്കിപ്പണിയും. അതു വരെ കുട്ടികളുടെ പൂർണ സംരക്ഷണവും ബോബി ഏറ്റെടുക്കും. ഒരുപാട് നാളുകൾക്ക് ശേഷം ഇന്നലെ നാട്ടിൽ എത്തി. പ്രതീക്ഷിക്കാതെ ഫോട്ടോ എടുക്കാനായി ഫോട്ടോഗ്രാഫർ വന്നപ്പോൾ എവിടെ നോക്കിയാലും ഭംഗിയുള്ള എന്റെ നാട്ടിലെ ചന്ദ്രഗിരി പുഴയുടെ കടവിൽ ഫോട്ടോ എടുക്കാൻ തീരുമാനിച്ചു. അവിടെ ചെന്നപ്പോൾ അതാ കിടക്കുന്നു തോണി, അത് കണ്ടപ്പോൾ തന്നെ അതിൽ കയറി പുഴയിൽ ഒരു റൗണ്ട് അടിക്കാനുള്ള പൂതി, എന്റെ ഓർമ്മ ശരിയാണെങ്കിൽ അവസാനമായിട്ട് ഞാൻ തോണിയിൽ ചന്ദ്രഗിരി പുഴ കടന്നത് 10 വർഷം മുന്നെയാണ്. എന്റെ ആഗ്രഹം കേട്ട തോണി മുതലാളി മുനീറിച്ച ഇടം വലം നോക്കാതെ എന്നേം കൂട്ടി ചന്ദ്രഗിരി പുഴയിലൂടെ അതും പാലത്തിന്റെ അടിയിലൂടെ സൂര്യസ്തമയവും കണ്ട് ഒരു ഒന്ന് ഒന്നര റൗണ്ട് കറക്കി.
