Ashwin Kakumanu Instagram – 2020 knocked a lot of us down and taught some very hard lessons. The year broke me down in many ways and forced me to look back and inside and come to terms with how some things were illusions and momentary even though I thought and wished they were not. Loss of work, of relationships, of life. But, It also made me realize what I truy love and I’m grateful for the time I got to spend with my family and my daughter and rebuild on what matters at the end of the day. The photo on the left is me in 2004-05 , fresh Martin Scorcese and Deniro fan after discovering Taxi driver and trying to ape that character. The photo on the right is me in December 2020. Creating characters of my own and also rediscovering the roles of father, husband, brother, Uncle and son. Some things you grow out of, some things you grow into and some things still fit the same.
