We all bleed the same color. There are no words when you see that video. You get a small perspective into what African Americans have had to experience for hundreds of years, only this time it was caught on camera. I remember living with my friend in 2007 ish and he explained to me that he got “pulled over” by cops while pumping gas at a gas station and was given a ticket for having dice in his mirror. I was outraged on his behalf, it was the first time I started to understand how unfair and unsafe it is for African Americans here. The systemic racism that built this country needs to be dismantled. I try to go high when this world gets so low inhuman and upsetting but we need radical change and social justice reform. Liberty and justice for ALL. #justiceforfloyd #justiceforahmaud #icantbreathe

I am beyond grateful I got to be a small part of something like this. Matthew Rhys is mesmerizing so is @realveronicafalcon just watching the trailer gave me chills. I can’t wait to see it.

Its rare to read something that makes you feel like it’s almost a memory from another life. I’m reading this to my Mother who has lost her vision. Everything has its reversal the child becomes the mother the lover leaves, but there’s nothing like holding pages in your hand that make you feel like home. My mom says it’s better than TV.
