Madeline Zima Instagram – We all bleed the same color. There are no words when you see that video. You get a small perspective into what African Americans have had to experience for hundreds of years, only this time it was caught on camera. I remember living with my friend in 2007 ish and he explained to me that he got “pulled over” by cops while pumping gas at a gas station and was given a ticket for having dice in his mirror. I was outraged on his behalf, it was the first time I started to understand how unfair and unsafe it is for African Americans here. The systemic racism that built this country needs to be dismantled. I try to go high when this world gets so low inhuman and upsetting but we need radical change and social justice reform. Liberty and justice for ALL.
