Mukti Mohan Instagram – Intriguing things my Mom does during Shraads, one of which is feeding crows. “Crows are the messengers of our ancestors”,she says, “other things we must do is give water to Peepul tree 🌳 and feed cows.🐮” Although I never interrupted her optimistic and non-questionable ways of celebrating each day according to the Hindu calendar but being the curious case that I am, I understood that it is more environmental-inclusion way of living, she says- “hum sab mil kar prithvi ka dhyaan rakh sakte hain, bezubaan pashu pakshiyon ka bhi dhyaan rakhlenge aur purvajon ko yaad karke khaatein hain, toh unki blessings toh zaroor lagti hongi.” I always stayed in a hostel and then in different cities so never got to connect with mom so beautifully before this lockdown.
