Still having trouble letting this one go in my heart 💔 And all of the other Arclight and Pacific theaters that we’ve all been going to for years in LA. If you didn’t hear, they are shutting down due to a lack of finances as a result of the pandemic. Hoping they can be saved. 🙏 All the movies, and all the memories. The incredible staff. The screens. When I started writing and recording #MVP years ago in Adelaide, Australia, with some of the homies from my teenage years (@hilltophoods, @producedbytrials, @djdebris) there was a feeling behind this song that meant a lot for me. I recently finished this track in LA. // You carve your own path. You work hard. You strive. You make your name, your place, your legacy. And legacy is a word that has been rebounding on me for a long time. In a moment of pause for us all one thing that really shone through for me is the MVP. Above and beyond. Dreams. Camaraderie. Honesty. Brilliance. Intelligence. Sportsmanship. // I love LA. And damn we’ve had a great year in sports even through all this hardship. @lakers @dodgers and go @rams !! There are so many players (from all over the world in so many different sports) that I want to mention here in this post right now. It’s crazy. You have all given the world a lot of light.
