Over the last couple of days I posted some stories that were inspired by a very deep and beautiful conversation on forgiveness with my dear friend @rachaelcoopes. Rachael is in the final stages of writing a book based on forgiveness. I was lucky enough to have her read the introduction to me the other day. It’s so beautiful. It sparked something inside me. It took me back to India in 2019, when this photo was taken. I was actively resting, healing, and nurturing under the care of ancient Ayurvedic medicine. After an accident (out of my hands will share more later) in which I incurred a severe concussion. For one month no tech, no outside world, no frills and no distractions. I went in. This is when I truly embarked on my path of forgiveness. There is a great depth in forgiving, letting go, and healing. It’s not easy. And as Rachael will tell you, some things are simply unforgivable, and some things won’t ever be forgiven. But, if we can, when we can… releasing energy that does not love or nurture us, ultimately heals our bodies, our minds, and our souls. Leading to a happier and healthier life. Sharing this with you in the thought that it may inspire something within you too.
I came across this photo today whilst organizing files and photographs on my computer. Tucked away. A little gem that was taken recently by @camraface. Days after I started working with my manager Tory Howard at Atlas Artists. I started to slowly re build a team from the ground up after the pandemic. It’s always a little daunting going through a big change like that. It was a little nerve wracking for sure, yet exciting and exhilarating at the same time. Particularly for someone like me, who has worked with only a select few agents throughout my career, and one long term manager who I had a great run with and love dearly. I am happy I took the leap on this. And it’s so nice to have this moment captured in a portrait. A reminder that anything is possible if you put your mind, energy and faith into it. 🙏💖✨ Thank you @camraface. I love shooting with you! I’m wearing my own clothes (vintage Gucci can’t go wrong 😻). Love this photo from #DETAINED. Available to stream now! We made this movie mostly in one location in a warehouse downtown LA. Small cast and crew. Detained is a psychological thriller. A linear story that takes place in under 24 hours. Felt like we were in a play! So much fun.

I have some exciting news! 😊✨ I have a new song that I will be releasing soon called Country. It’s very different from my EP (Key Of The Sun) that I released a little while ago. It’s just me playing the guitar. Which is wild cause I don’t consider myself a guitar player even though I love love love the guitar. It’s a song about growing up in the country, in Australia. And how that felt at times. What the vibe was like out there living in the sticks. 🌾
