Andrea Jeremiah Instagram – My friendly neighbourhood bees are back just in time for #lockdown 3.0 🐝🐝🐝 From an evolutionary perspective, #bees are one of the most intelligent species on this #planet. Their roles are so clearly defined from birth, and they work together as a team to ensure the well-being of their hive. From an evolutionary perspective, we #humanbeings probably evolved too fast for our own good. We’ve risen to the top of the food chain by unnatural methods, and in the process, caused the #extinction of many other species, both knowingly & unknowingly. Now, as we face what is possibly the worst #global crisis of our #lifetime, I hope that people around the world learn something from all of this… that we too need to work together as a team, to ensure the well-being of our own #species as well as that of every living thing on this planet… because it all adds up. I truly hope that we can rebuild a better, safer post-pandemic #world 🌎 But is that too much to hope for ? I wonder… P.S: if you look carefully, you will notice that the bees have built their new #hive exactly next to their old one. Apparently this is quite unusual, bees that leave don’t come back. I wonder if they are the same bees or a different hive altogether 🤔
