And although humans are not stupid, we do indeed do great things when we work together, especially for a cause and greater good. The key is to be selfless and empathize with people in need. In a time when selflessness is so crucial for human lives, many, unfortunately are taking advantage of this situation in India and profiting off of people’s dire state. Oxygen cylinders are being sold for 10x the normal price, and many just choose to think that nothing is happening, that the media is blowing everything out of proportion. Painting a rosy picture about the situation and ignoring what others are going through will ultimately come to hurt us all. The time to be selfless is now. . . .
