Limba Ram, First Indian Olympic archer who represented India in international competitions, including three Olympics, now struggling in his grim battle against a neuro-degenerative diseases like Parkinson Antaxia , MSA-C, Neurocyticercosis , Dypthsia, Bronchitis Spondylosis etc. He Won a gold medal & equalled an archery world record in 1991 at the Asian Archery Championships in Beijing and narrowly missed the bronze medal at the 1992 Olympics. Limba Ram was appointed as the National Archery Coach for the Commonwealth Games 2010. He was awarded the Padma Shri Award in 2012 for his unforgettable contribution to the Indian archery.
