Not this time (ok, maybe a little bit)….”.

More like can’t be a good leader unless you know how to communicate AND “Listen”.
•
Listening is one of the most important aspects in all communication. And definitely in all relationships. And I’m not only talking about romantic ones, even friendships and or business. In psychology NLP, there are actually 4 types of listening styles – more on that later.
Listening is different from just hearing. When you listen to someone, you are comprehending, understanding what they are trying to say.
When someone sees or feels that you are not listening, it could definitely result to miscommunication issues. So, how do you listen?
1️⃣ Be present to what they are saying.
Give them your full attention. Remove any distractions. That squirrel outside the window.
2️⃣ Make them feel at ease, casual – that it’s okay to talk.
Let them know, “I am here. You can talk to me.”
3️⃣ Stop figuring things out while they are speaking or assume you know what they are about to say.
Because most of the time, things doesn’t require resolving. You just got to listen.
4️⃣ Let go of any agendas and don’t take things personally.
Remember that EVERYONE has filters of reality aka the information being shared. How we receive this information goes through deletrons, distortions generalizations to fit our model of the world internal story we play. Try to listen from a conscious perspective, you can even hear your filters yourself. Hahah!
Healthy Communication starts with good and active listening. And not matter what anyone says, how you make them feel will be the lasting impression.
