Ashima Shiraishi Instagram – A whole lotta punting on this one. It’s funny how much I love the process of being consumed by a boulder problem that I even enjoy the part where I fall off of the last moves 5 times in a row and feel utterly devastated hahaha. It’s not always the case, but I love the invigorating sensation that comes only when you’re in a place of defeat. What a pleasure it was to enjoy the rocks, streams and views for a few days in Payahuunadü, ‘the land of flowing water’, on Paiute and Shoshone land. 🔝 soon, hopefully.
