Some training before I compete at the Lead World Cups in France next month! Feeling strong, but mostly sweaty in 100 degree weather and Northeastern humidity 💦☀️ fit check👚🩳: @thenorthface sports bra // My mom has been busting out some shorts with the leftover fabric we have 🙂 tbh, the usual capris stick to my kneecaps in the heat, so I’ve been psyched on the extra mobility 👌 vid: @jforshots
At the beginning of the pandemic when my hometown (NYC) was hit hardest, @clifbar reached out to me to see if there was any way to help. We worked with the New York food bank to donate Clif bars that would help aid the 1.5 million New Yorkers that rely on food pantries. This opportunity allowed me to pause and gain a better perspective of my place not only in my home city, but the world. This moment ignited a fire in me to take further action and to continue to contribute in ways I hope will better the lives of people from all backgrounds. I have spent time learning more, and sharing what I can by volunteering at different organizations like @northbrooklynangels @youngwomenwhocrush and starting @allriseoutdoors as an effort to tackle barriers to entry into outdoor activities.
Clif bar, thank you for fueling me to not only to reach “new heights” in climbing but also in becoming a more active participant in my community.
I have learned so much this past year, and I hope you have too. Let’s continue listening. Let’s continue conversing. Let’s continue learning. Let’s move the world to new heights.

I associate bookstores with my childhood days which always seem to give me a sense of nostalgia, in a good way… On the topic of childhood and books, it was very surreal to see my book on a shelf for the first time! It’s funny how much I love the process of being consumed by a boulder problem that I even enjoy the part where I fall off of the last moves 5 times in a row and feel utterly devastated hahaha. It’s not always the case, but I love the invigorating sensation that comes only when you’re in a place of defeat.
What a pleasure it was to enjoy the rocks, streams and views for a few days in Payahuunadü, ‘the land of flowing water’, on Paiute and Shoshone land. 🔝 soon, hopefully. Till then, it’s time to train for the Lead World Cups in 🇫🇷 ! @cheynacarr @noahsahady pics.
