Chyler Leigh Instagram – The last few months have meant a lot less face-to-face interactions, which has given way to more time spent online socializing and scrolling. So I want to remind everyone that it is so, so important that we are careful and thoughtful with what we put out into the online universe. Words and images matter. And YOU have the power to use them in a way that creates a safer environment for those around you.

I want to share some tips for bringing more positivity to social media and the online space, in partnership with @bevocal.speakup:
– Use non-judgmental, people-first language when describing someone.
– Don’t make assumptions about people or their stories – you don’t know what they might be going through.
– Be authentic – maybe that means not editing your photos, maybe it means being truly honest about how you are feeling that day.
– If you see something unsafe happening on social media, or someone getting bullied – report that post or comment to the platform. You can also speak up about it if you feel safe and comfortable doing so.

Together, through this amazing community, we can take action to support ourselves and each other. What will you commit to doing to help make our online experiences healthier? Let me know in the comments!
