Lakshmy Ramakrishnan Instagram – God Bless your path and all the best Shreeya❤️may your journey be exciting and fulfilling, may you grow up to be in a position to give back to the society 👍 When I see this post, I remember the comments about my girl’s skin color and looks from extended family, including my own sibling #GangaHariharan. She told me I had nothing to be proud of because my husband is a ‘Vadyar’ ( he chose academics leaving his 14 years of IT job!) and I have three girls who were not yet settled in life! ( they were in school and according to this person, girls are settled only when they are married😁) I remember aunt @ShyamalaRajagopal trying to guess whether my little girl has come of age or not, by looking at her body shape!!! It was so demeaning and as a mother, I fumed from inside but got all the more determined to make our three girls qualified and educated and thus be empowered and insulated from all the regressive bull shit!! We prioritised, had faith and Children worked hard , Grateful , feeling humbled and counting our blessings 🙏 #GiftOfGirls #BlessedParent #daughtersareprecious
Lakshmy Ramakrishnan Instagram – An interesting bit of news, though not a surprise, is that, a few handles which have been attacking me and commenting on every tweet of mine has been identified to be from the same location. Evidence is recovered to show these handles are operated by the same person. Agency has given us information which is pointing towards a member of extended family, who we had suspected initially. We retracted due to lack of evidence. Now, we have the details, and It is for us to handle it. But, shocked to realise education does nothing to better criminal minds!! We all face ups & downs, but we choose to evolve & learn from mistakes. But some people turn bitter & revengeful from unhappy relationships, sick people to take care of & disappointments in life. We can only sympathise with them. Wish our parents were here to handle this situation ! Prayers and wishes for everyone’s physical and mental well being…
