Sonali Bendre Instagram – June is Pride Month and we thought what better way to celebrate than by picking not one, but two interesting books with an LGBTQIA+ theme. The first one is Detransition, Baby by Torrey Peters. It’s a witty and moving novel about three women – transgender and cisgender – whose lives collide after an unexpected pregnancy forces them to confront their notions of gender and motherhood. The second one is a young adult book book called Simon vs the Homo Sapiens Agenda by Becky Albertalli. It’s about a 16 year old’s adventures with love, friendship and the complications that arise in his junior year.
