Arjun Kamath Instagram – It was a chilly morning, and a blanket of deep blue had taken over the earth when Shanvi and I drove to the outskirts of Bangalore. The sun had not yet risen, and the only light we could see amidst the fog came from the blurred spheres of streetlights. As we whooshed past hazy fields, we were delightfully anticipating the shoot and all it would bring. On the side of soothing melodies and light-hearted chatter, we watched the sky gracefully shift its veil as the sun slowly emerged from the horizon. And the velvety dawn was still ringing in when the beautiful Shanvi and I stepped into a vibrant field. The morning appeared rosier now, and the skies glared a perfect blue above us. While beneath our feet, the coppery crops swirled happily at the touch of occasional breezes. To our delight, these crisp winter winds also brought messages through whiffs and sounds. The mud was fragrant in a wet field somewhere, a stream gurgled across the plains at a distance, and the birds were enjoying a morning feast within reach. Brushed with joy from these small events, we found ourselves in the middle of the crops, exchanging smiles and soft words. And between these simple interludes stood Shanvi, glowing gracefully under the fresh and delicate rays of the sun. The time I spent clicking her photographs ticked in glee, as the pleasant colours and frames enveloped my sight—just like I had imagined.
