I first met Parashi in June of 2016 when I visited the Maasai Wilderness Conservation Trust with @conservationorg. We went on to run the NYC marathon with the @mwct_kenya team that fall.
It was a gift to return to these Hills earlier this year…. Mt Kilimanjaro still looming on a clear day. Giraffe and Whistling acacias. Fresh elephant tracks…
Together with key partners in the landscape, @ConservationOrg is working to restore tens of thousands of hectares of Chyulu Hills savannah woodland and grassland by 2025.
