52nd Anniversary of Landing on the Moon

Can you imagine what it was like watching a human land on the moon for the first time in history? My parents remember it clearly:

Colleen: “We had a map in the basement and would reference it as we watched the landing on the moon in our living room. It was just our family and I was 19 years old.”
.
Bruce: “I remember watching it on TV in Murray, Utah, with family friends, the Martins, and their relatives. I was 22 years old. We watched the whole thing and no one said anything. We were in awe. I was glad it wasn’t me, just in case they got a flat tire, they wouldn’t have made it back home. It was awesome. It was really neat to see something like that.” 😛
