Throwback to my walker days! When I thought getting back to my feet is far from a reality. But this whole phase taught me something very important. TRUST YOURSELF! You have survived a lot, and you will survive whatever is coming ❤
Happy weekend!❤❤
Got vaccinated! 😊👍
Just like everyone else I had a small fear within to go take the jab but @dr.karthikakarthik made me realize how important it is to vaccinate and that’s the only solution to stop the third wave from hitting us hard. Thank you akka for patiently answering my 1000 questions!!🙈
Thank you Faisal, Ravi and the rest of the staff at Apollo for your service to the people and giving them confidence to do this.
I request you all to pls go get vaccinated and protect yourself and those around you ❤
PS: If you have any doubts about the vaccination or it’s process, ask in the comments section below and I will try and answer it to the best of my abilities 😊

Disclaimer: This is going to be a slightly long post so apologies for taking a few mins of your life 🙏
First of all, kudos to all those wonderful people out there for staying strong and helping each other during these tough times. Seeing such stories or posts on social media makes me happy and believe in humanity all over again! ❤
But there is something that’s been bothering me for sometime now (like for almost 5 years I would say)
I have been asked about it in several interviews and by a lot of random people, how I deal with social media trolls/comments. I kept saying the very clichéd answer “Ignore negativity and focus on all the good stuff”. Well, until recently, I realized I wasn’t finding any “good” stuff, at least on my profile. Cos most of the comments were filled with anger/frustration/bodyshaming/calling names etc, etc… So I decided to take a break for my own mental sanity! While I was away, I managed to do a couple of stories to keep my insta family “ENGAGED” (still trying to figure out why they needed my stories and posts to keep them engaged in the first place!).
I took a break to figure out why the comments which had never affected me before, was affecting me now. Well, taking a break didn’t really help me find answers but I finally understood one thing very clearly! Me taking a break is not going to change these things. These things will keep happening. They will judge you, say means things, body shame you ( call you slim or fat or ugly or whatever), etc, etc… But finally after all these years I really have decided to live my life without getting bothered by all of this. All these years I would have said that I ignore all these things but in reality, like many others out there, it was difficult for me to do it. It still is difficult at times but much less than before. The difference is that I was in complete denial of the fact that it was affecting me, until it hit the peak!
To all those people who always supported me genuinely no matter what, thank you so much for being so so kind. And to all those who didn’t, please be kind to yourself so that you can be kind to others. Because the world needs kindness now more than ever before 🙏
Parenting and schooling can impact our self-worth positively or negatively, it can impact how we make small and big decisions in our lives and it can definitely impact our relationships with ourselves and others.
I through @thetransfomindproject.in by @onelife_ngo aspire to reach out to parents and teachers in order to do their bit in raising mentally emotionally and physically fit children. 💫

With the entire country battling with an increase in covid cases, and with online classes being the norm at least for the next few months, checking in with students every now and then about how they are coping with this difficult time, should be encouraged. A lot of students might be going through issues that they might not be able to talk to anyone about which must be directly impacting their mental health. I, through the @thetransfomindproject by @onelife_ngo want to do my bit in advocating the importance of mental health for students. 💫❤️

I believe that educating teachers about concepts related to mental health through #thetransfomindproject by @onelife_ngo , will impact students in a positive way, because once teachers are aware, they will be able to help themselves feel better which will definitely impact the relationship they share with students. Posted @withregram • @onelife_ngo Teachers are usually people who students end up spending the most amount of time with after their family.
Sensitizing these important adults about student’s mental health challenges can help them understand how to help students in need. 💫🌻

What if we were taught #loveislove irrespective of someone’s sex or gender, at a much younger age?
I stand with #thetransfomindproject by Onelife as it aims to spread awareness about extremely important topics like this. 💕
Posted @withregram • @onelife_ngo Through #thetransfomindproject by Onelife, we aim to touch upon important topics, sexuality being a very important one. We all are aware of so many adults who were once students, struggling to accept their own sexuality but also being bullied and traumatized by other students and even teacher and other school staff. Through this project we aim to educate and empower students and teachers and to make schools a safer place for any student trying to understand and accept their own sexuality.

How can we do this?
I have joined hands with @thetransfomindproject by @onelife_ngo through which a mental health curriculum for students from LKG to 12th standard (non-graded) has been designed by trained Mental Health Professionals. Teachers will be trained and sensitized to carry on important aspects related to mental health. This way both the teachers, as well as the students will be taught to prioritise mental health. 💫

Wondering how that can be possible?
I, through @thetransfomindproject by @onelife_ngo, have joined hands with Professionals in the field who are helping us create this vision into reality. Equipping children with mental health knowledge and reseorces through a holistic approach from a young age, will help them grow into healthy and functioning adults. 🌻

So many of us had to fight with our parents to choose the career paths of our liking or worst case, dint even get to choose the career paths of our liking, solely because of what society would say. We were conditioned to believe from a young age that studying science and becoming an engineer or doctor, was always more superior than studying arts and becoming an artist, or any other creative professional.
I through #thetransfomindproject by @onelife_ngo , hope to begin challenging conversations like these and make the world a better place for the generations ahead.
I’d love to know your thoughts on this in the comments section. Were you ever pressurized into choosing the career path of someone else’s liking instead of yours? Remember there is no right or wrong answer. We all have different perspectives and opinions.

As someone who believes in the importance of self care and mental Health myself, I wish more about the importance of it was discussed with us as children in schools. I through #thetrasnfomindproject by @onelife_ngo , I’m to introduce this concept in schools from a young age for happier and healthy individuals. 💫
Posted @withregram • @onelife_ngo Imagine if you understood the concept of mental health and self-care at a young age?
So many of us grew up with traumas and mental health challenges that we had no clue how to deal with.
Understanding the concept of self-care and mental health can have a huge impact on a child’s self-esteem and can equip them to deal with challenging situations throughout life💫

I through #thetransfomindproject by @onelife_ngo , intend on creating a safe space for students to be able to share anything they might be going through with teachers who will be trained by Mental Health Professionals to recognise mental health issues that impact children 🌻
Posted @withregram • @onelife_ngo Let’s do our bit as a society to educate & empower ourselves so that we can model the same behaviors for the generations ahead💛
