It’s taken three pregnancies to figure out how to dress my bump. And I still find it quite a struggle sometimes. Some might say I don’t wear much when I’m pregnant and that is also true. I have subscribed to “if nothing fits don’t wear it”, in the past. However, after 4 consecutive years of shape shifting and, this most likely to be my last pregnancy, I thought to talk about what’s worked for me. This is a dress I wear for most of our evening going out type of occasions. It’s super stretchy and one of the few things I bought this pregnancy. I’ve mainly worn stuff that will work with and without a bump to ensure everything is usable long term.
Leo just won’t let me put him down these days and most every shoot done at home becomes a family affair 😝… life doesn’t stop for the gram.

🖖So I’ve been away from insta for a while now, here’s my best attempt at a catch up post.. Things can feel pretty extra after having a baby. A lot of it is probably hormones. Two under two and three kids in four years has been truly humbling. I don’t mean humbling in the way I’ve heard ppl say after winning an Oscar lol But humbled in an, I feel incapable kind of way. I thought we’d be taking it one day at a time, but we’re down to taking it one feed at a time. No one tells you how long you’ll spend burping your baby. And what not getting that burp up can mean. I take a second sometimes to just remind myself there is no destination in motherhood. Pumping while having a coffee, organising the boys schedules — pick ups, drop offs and bouncing the bouncer with one foot. And then there’s that sound, that tiny little noise that makes it all worth it, and when you finally hear it, it’s the most rewarding.. that little burp!

Any other moms out there nervous about another baby coming along while you still have a baby in your arms? I worry about his little emotions, how will he feel and express himself while he’s yet learning how to talk. Precious boy you are so loved and will be ever so even when your sister arrives in ten weeks.
On another note, so thankful the beaches in Hong Kong have opened after endless months of lockdowns. They are truly more magical and cleaner than I’ve ever seen them. April is my favourite beach month here – the water is still crisp, the sun not too hot and the beaches not yet super crowded. Love that this year Leo gets to share the beach with us. He already loves the water. Maybe he’ll be an early swimmer. Shek-O beach

One of the most special days… Five friends ( @nicspichi @jieunwrigley @kathykwei @jacintakuok @simmigm ) planned a baby shower to welcome baby girl. I may have given them some reference photos ( not a control freak at all 😝) BUT , this decor was above and beyond- true friendship, making baby shower dreams come true. Baby girl you are so loved ! 💕

A bit behind on posting the rest of our shoot with @bazaarindia But, This is my favourite moment of all the pictures. A moment I’ll travel back to in the coming months… when we’d go home to feed ourselves and sleep through the night. Every new addition brings a new family dynamic. Sometimes I feel it’s like a little revolution. When ppl ask if I’m ready. I never know what to say. Yes,because everything weighs heavy. No, because nothing could ever really fully prepare us for what’s about to happen till it does… living on a prayer, stealing sleep, really taking every day as it comes. No matter how crazy things get, there is real surfing to look forward to (not just posing on the board 😝) and being on top of mountains again.
