I’ve always loved the ocean – it’s where I feel the greatest sense of peace. But one of the greatest threats to our way of life is sea level rise. Global heating will probably push sea level up by six feet before the end of this century, which would hit my home state of Mississippi hard. How bad could it get? Around 5000 or 6000 BC, after the end of the last ice age, sea levels rose by several HUNDRED feet. Entire cities were swallowed by the ocean. Makes me realize that #HuntingAtlantis can teach us about the future as well as the past. Tonight at 10pm on @Discovery.

You’ll be surprised to hear I don’t have all the answers. I’m actually full of questions… and, that’s because being curious moves the world.
It was a joy to sit back and watch James’ portrayal of ‘Hoke’ on Broadway in the 2010 broadway version of Driving Miss Daisy at the John Golden Theatre.
It’s Se7en o’clock. “Se7en” degrees of separation?!? At 10 PM today @Discovery is airing the season one finale of #HuntingAtlantis. My company, #RevelationsEnt is producing, and @StelPavlou and @volcano.jess are going to the ancient lost city of Troy. Troy is also a favorite movie featuring my friend Brad Pitt, who plays Achilles. Brad also starred in the movie Se7en with me. The degrees can go on and on, tune in tonight to learn more about how we are not so separate from the ancient world.
Walking around Pompeii, I found it hard to ignore the city-destroying beast that loomed over me. Then I found out that Vesuvius has an even more powerful cousin over in Sicily. When Mount Etna erupted around 5500 BC, it may have wiped out another famous ancient city. Check out the latest lead in #HuntingAtlantis on tonight’s episode airing at 10pm on @Discovery. 1985 on Broadway for “The Gospel at Colonus” – it is one of the most memorable experiences of my life! Fun fact I learned my introduction in eighth different languages.

Thank you @ewoutdrawsmovies for capturing a scene from one of my favorite projects. This line still resonates with how we all can view life, everyone deserves a chance to clean up their mistakes.
Today Kenneth Chamberlain Sr.’s story will be brought to the world.
Chamberlain Sr. was killed in the early morning on Nov. 19, 2011. Officers responded to Chamberlain’s apartment around 5 a.m. after receiving an accidental alarm from his medical alert device.
Police eventually broke down the door and shot Chamberlain with a Taser and four non-lethal bean bag rounds from a shotgun. Officer Anthony Carelli then fatally shot Chamberlain Sr.
We share his story as the pursuit for justice and accountability continues.

This coming fall is the 10th anniversary of the death of Kenneth Chamberlain, and it’s time for Kenneth’s story to be told. On Sept. 17th, our film “The Killing of Kenneth Chamberlain” is coming to theaters. The messaging of the #KillingofKCFilm is important – but the conversations that audiences will have after will be even more important. We need to continue a dialogue around police reform, and I hope that this movie becomes part of the catalyst in understanding how we can change.
Thank you @joyannreid for having us on @thereidout as @officialkennethchamberlainjr continues to share with the world the story of what happened to his father, Kenneth Chamberlain Sr. My hope for this film is for viewers to readdress the role of law enforcement in our communities. Let’s take it a step further to put people in office that are willing to actually make changes. The @KillingofKCFilm is coming to select theaters on Sept. 17th and video on demand.
