This guy basically set the tone for what it was like to work at Radio 1 – he decided everyone was always welcome, that no one was more important than anyone else, and that all of us should have loads of fun together and be a big gang. As a newbie that was unbelievable, to step into a family like that!
I just can’t think of a better storyteller on the radio. Just the funniest, and without making him feel old, I really wanted to be like him. Will miss listening but will enjoy seeing you, NG ❤️ Happy Last Show ❤️

I work with (great!) men a lot. But sadly it’s very unusual to find myself in an all-female crew, so it felt really special making this. Particularly considering the stories in this programme.
It was a really wonderful experience, we laughed until our faces hurt. And cried quite a bit too.
I think what we’ve ended up with is a film with lots to think and talk about.
