Angelina Jolie Instagram – The future for Afghan women, and their place within society, hang in the balance. Many brave young women are protesting and demanding their rights, despite the extreme danger they face. They are the defiant women of Kabul. The BBC has blurred their faces to protect their identities but their message is loud and clear: “We are the young generation and will bring the bud of freedom.” I co-produced this video with the BBC’s @YaldaHakim for @BBCWorldService and @BBCNews.
