So this happened yesterday. First day of school, and just like that we have a first grader in the family. Maiya was so ready and proud, Maxwell was less excited about PreK, and well, the last picture shows you how @justinbaldoni and I felt about it all. Truth is, and I know most parents relate, the feelings are SO mixed. I cried after drop off, a lot. And yet, deep inside, there was a happy dance happening because I just spent 184 hours this summer just cleaning up after my family. (I had a rough day last week and actually calculated this 🤓) Happy school start to all families out there!! 😭💃😭💃😭💃😭💃

It’s fall and it’s time to prune my garden and to prune my life from too many things, too many tasks. It’s time to make life a little lighter. It only makes sense then to do the same with my hair 💁♀️ @sueseocolor ✨
Thank you @justinbaldoni for putting all these pictures together so I didn’t have to do the work (because I birthed the kids you will forever be on bday photo duty, it’s only fair) And also, your post… 😭❤️I love you❤️
Yesterday was Maxwell’s fourth birthday. Our little lightbulb that never turns off. The feeling he brings when he enters a room is one of sweet tunes and spring bouquets, or the joy of seeing a hummingbird or a double rainbow. He is kindness and sweetness and generosity and compassion all wrapped up in one little human. Add a whole lot of creativity and a big love for dinosaurs, and you have our Maxwell. His wild, soft, golden curls represent exactly who he is. Our son-shine, our Maxwell, Happy 4 and thank you for all that you are 💖

Last week our dear friends and healers @drjohnamaral and @christinaamaral blew our minds and sent us to outer (and inner) space for a few days 🚀
This is the kind of healing work that helps me remember how powerful and wise my body is. When I learn to listen to it and let it do what it’s capable of doing, there is tremendous healing and guidance. And when we also tap into what’s beyond the 3D reality there’s not only healing, there’s pure magic ✨
I believe that connecting to who we truly are, beyond our cultural conditioning and beliefs, is what will actually transform humanity. To be on a journey of self discovery and healing, elevating our energy and consciousness, living an authentic life infused with meaning and service, are the actions most needed to impact the collective, and in my opinion the most important kind of activism ❤️

Thank you for sharing this @marysia_miernowska 💛
✨Become everything. Everything you deeply know you are here to be✨

I’m not sure when breastfeeding became a reason for mamas to wear baby panda print but @weareamma we believe mamas have every right to feel gorgeous and stylish, especially when she’s deep in early motherhood.
Mamas, you’re allowed to make it about you. You’re allowed to treat yourselves.
For those of you who want a little bit of cover, the Cocoon gives you a beautiful open knit design that is lightweight, breathable and versatile, the only one of its kind on the market. It’s still one of my favorite things to wear, long after my nursing days. Definitely worthy of twirling 😘

A conversation about dating and marriage which turned into a deeper sharing about the invisible work of women and mothers.
Thank you @wearemanenough and @justinbaldoni @feministabulous @jamey_heath_ for having these conversations.
Link in my bio to listen ❤️
Such a sweet post by my love 😍
PS: I can’t help but move my body when I feel called, yes. I also can’t help the goddam OCD going haywire when I notice these images are out of order 😖🤪 why can’t you edit images??

Last night on our bedtime walk I caught this little moment of magic.
@emilybaldoni can’t help but move her body when she feels called. When nature calls. It’s so breathtakingly beautiful on its own, but watching Maiya mimic her every action damn near brought me to tears.
Our kids study us. They observe. They watch our every move. They take in all we say and even more so what we don’t say. They feel it all and absorb like little sponges and then copy us because we are there guides. Their teachers. Their safe places.
If only they knew they were actually the ones teaching us.
Their innate goodness, curiosity, and joy is just that…innate. It isn’t learned.
We are the reasons they forget. But if we let them they will help us remember.
Let’s never forget. Our actions today will be their actions tomorrow.
Let’s heal while we can so we can show the next generation how to heal.
Healed people heal people.

I am so touched by all the beautiful and heartfelt feedback we’ve received for my episode on the Man Enough podcast.
Hundreds of you shared your stories with us and so many of you mamas out there told me that listening to the episode was the first time you felt heard, seen, and held. It breaks my heart and I pray that the support and appreciation you deserve will show up in your life. This only reinforces what we were talking about on the episode; solutions and actions are needed NOW.
I wish I could get back to each and every one of you, but for now please accept my deepest thanks for tuning in and for sharing your thoughts and stories.
My love @justinbaldoni created the @wearemanenough podcast to make space for uncomfortable but crucial conversations and I’m so grateful to everyone involved for continuously showing up with vulnerability, strength and courage, and for walking the walk. I may be biased but it’s the best podcast I’ve ever listened to, they’re doing the real work 🙌🏼 And how about the data the incredible @feministabulous drops in this clip? None of us are surprised but still… Wow.
Paris Fashion Week may be in full swing, but we’re more interested in the catwalk closer to home. Because mamas deserve to feel FREAKIN FANTASTIC!
The Cocoon by @weareamma is the only nursing cover that’s:
♥️ fashionable
♥️ breathable
♥️ lightweight
♥️ versatile
And wearable long after your breastfeeding days are gone 💃😘
