What an epic adventure! I know it may have been a shock to see my leave tonight but unfortunately, my body isn’t as invincible as I wish it was. I actually was limping from day 3 but sucked it up, cause I didn’t feel like Id done what I needed. The load took its toll and I’m now suffering from a stress fracture In the hip. My values made me leave the show. My back is also not in good shape and I didn’t want to push it further than I needed at this point in my life. Super grateful for the experience and all the wisdom I learnt. The staff and all the recruits made my time on the course something special, I’m forever grateful. The past 6 months since sas have been a pretty wild ride for me mentally. I asked so many questions and couldn’t get answers. My puzzle pieces have been falling into place the past few weeks. Leaving the course for me was growth… I swallowed my ego and I didn’t stay to prove myself. Personally, I didn’t go on the show to prove anything. I went on there to hopefully be an inspiration to others, share my story and see if I love doing cool shit as much as my head believes. Can confirm I love this shit!! I actually had a little post sas meltdown because I wanted to run away from my life and join the military. The food on the other hand wasn’t great but actually had a positive impact on my food mindset. ❤️❤️❤️

Stoke level 10 😎. I’m such a life lover, my zest vitality and drive has grown from a commitment to health and my heart. At one point in my life my mental health suffered pretty massively, I lost my fruity self and my world was clouded. I fought hard, and from that period on I made a decision and a commitment to myself to show up. To live my best life. To pick myself up from all my falls. To work toward becoming the best version of me and to always do my best to live life with a positive attitude. Not just for me but for everyone. #ad The weather is heating up, so I thought I would share some of my favourite Mocktail recipes using @gordonsginau 0.0% Alcohol Free!
Sassy Strawberry 🍓
– 2 cups frozen strawberries
– 3 tbsp fresh lime Juice
– 1 squeeze Stevia liquid
(sweetener optional)
– 100ml Gordons 0.0% Alcohol Free
– ¼ cup water
Add all ingredients into a blender and blend until desired consistency. If you want it thicker, add some more frozen fruit, to thin it, add more water.
Second favourite would have to be my cucumber cocktail, going to be making this over the weekend!

Cool as a cucumber
– 1 cucumber
– 1 inch grated fresh ginger
– 2 tbsp lemon juice
– 100ml Gordons 0.0% Alcohol Free
– 1 cup ice
– 2 cup soda water
– 6-8 fresh mint leaves
Blend cucumber with 4 mint leaves, grated ginger, Gordon’s 0.0% Alcohol Free and lemon juice. Pour liquid into mocktail shaker (jar works great too). Add ice and shake. Serve in a glass and add remaining mint leaves to the top!

My dog is pretty cool 😎 so is the ocean. I’m obsessed with many things. Enthusiasm is an understatement. It was pretty cool to share some of my story on Sas. There is so much more I wish I could have said. However I’m a story teller, always have been. I’m pretty excited to start sharing more of my stories with you! Video, movies, writing bring it on 🔥🌈. Some people have messaged to say watching me speak was a little heartbreaking but more importantly inspiring. I’ve never been a victim. It’s not the way I live my life, I’m responsible for my choices actions and practices and I’m grateful for my journey and everything I’ve been through. It’s made me the person I am today. We can sometimes not control what happens to us but we can control how we respond. We can control the light and energy we put into the world. Be you ❤️❤️💐💐 love u all.
It’s quite easy to be mindful cool and calm when life is smooth. But it’s also ok to be emotional, unbalanced and struggling when things aren’t easy. Yoga, mindfulness, meditation all these practices help us to have a choice in our reactions to things that happen in our lives. However, it’s also important to speak about how it’s ok to fall, mess up, get triggered and react. The more we try to push away the aggravation of our feelings the more they can simmer under the surface. I’m a strong person, and for many years I’ve stayed cool as a cucumber. But a few times in the past few weeks I stopped smoothing things over and reacted. At first, I was a little angry at myself for letting my ‘mindful mindset’ fall to the ground. However days later and I feel lighter. It’s important to remember that we don’t always have to be strong. We don’t need to pretend everything is fine when things are falling. We can let ourselves off the hook, for that moment, those minutes or those hours. Then we pick ourselves up with compassion and kindness and once again work toward becoming a better version of ourselves. Smile and be grateful.
This week is 9 weeks without exercise, trying to heal my hip fracture. Can’t wait to be back running 🏃♀️ feels like it’s been forever ❤️

I’ve always loved pressure. I actually think I function better under pressure then I do with out it. I always seem to feel more calm with lots of stimulation, when compared to less. Here’s to doing cool shit 🌟 thanks @sasaustralia , the monkey bars under the helicopter was RAD!!! The trapezium was crazy, trying to get that foot over the obstacle in the middle of the track was like shooting in the dark. ‘Look down you go down’ was what one of the staff members said to me. I kept my eyes ahead on billy and lifted my second foot over the wood. I thought ‘I have no f**** idea if it’s gonna land on the bar on the other side but I gotta step’. Woop thank god it did 🤟 a few of our beastings didn’t get a feature in the ep last night… But safe to say seal crawling through a rocky swamp up a little hill 3 times was not a joke. Many of us with arms and knees cut and black with bruises. Hence why we are so damn dirty. It doesn’t matter if you fail or succeed a task what matters is giving it a go! And every person went for it 💪🙏

How would you cope with no shower during the @sasaustralia course? Oh not to mention no deodorant, or clean clothing, face wash, moisturiser or hairbrush…… lucky they gave us a toothbrush…Glad I’m not still washing my undies in a bucket every night 😂🤟 @jessicasperis
