Rachel Griffiths Instagram – Vale Joan Washington- my first ever dialect coach . She taught me welsh northern Irish Yorkshire and Lancashire accents over many movies . Without her I doubt I would have had an international career. She was formidable warm and inspiring giving all who worked her her a skill set and confidence to inhabit the roles we played and a deep love of the English language and its vAriations.
