I’ve always felt photographs are windows to other worlds. They may look similar to what our eye captures, but as soon as we give into them, breathing with them, our soul is dragged by their undertow through mind-bending rabbit holes, whisking our mind into worlds we didn’t know they even existed.
What worlds could we look into if we were invisible? It sounds bizarre, but places change once we’re in them: they bend.
Maybe it’s just me, but haven’t you realized that things change once you’re in that room? Conversations gravitate towards the people included in it. and if someone leaves, the atmosphere changes slightly; a small change with a massive effect. In that sense, we’re prisoners of our energy. We see only what we attract.
It’s not a matter of others withholding information, it’s more a subject relating to the way our brain only observes the patterns it is accustomed to. We direct our attention with the words we use, which impacts not only our conversations, but our whole world; words literally weave a net, directing us towards a specific “present” moment. But that doesn’t mean there is only one present possibility. We just don’t know how to get out of our tailor made suit called “reality”.
Isn’t that crazy? This world is very alike an Escher’s painting, our labrynths caused by the magnetism our energy produces; physical energy, snapping us back to our tailor made eternity… I think there is an out, actually: perspective.
Shift perspective and the world will shift with you. | Posted on 01/Dec/2021 01:46:33
