It was SOO good reconnecting with one of my favorite people @sabrinacarpenter in NY. I love this woman. I love her heart. I love her talent. I love everything about her. But I have one issue. See, after seeing Sabrina take about 100 pictures with fans I realized something. We have now finally figured out where Maiya learned to pose like this in literally EVERY photo we take of her. Thanks auntie Sabrina.✌🏼#shedidntgetitfromhermama

Wow. Just had the craziest full circle moment. 25 years ago, I was in this exact terminal getting a chance to witness the magic of making a movie for the first time, all thanks to my dad. My dad was working on MY BEST FRIENDS WEDDING as the head of product placement (he put United Airlines in the movie and was the guy who basically started the entire branded entertainment business). He closed down this entire United terminal so they could film.
He flew my sister and me in so we could experience it. I’ll never forget that moment. It was my first time seeing real movie stars in person (and I still believe that Julia Roberts winked at me). Everything that day seemed larger than life, and yet I remember feeling at home on set, like I was supposed to be there. It was a moment I realized this was a dream that I never allowed myself to have because the reality of it felt so far away.
Well, it wasn’t. And I promise you that yours aren’t either.
Here I am, 25 years later… flying home from visiting the set of one of the films @wayfarerstudios is producing, walking down this same tunnel in the same exact terminal, but was just stopped by a young aspiring filmmaker who dreams of one day making her own movie just like I did.
Anything is possible friends.
I would like to think that little Justin would be proud of where he is today, so I’m trying to let myself feel that.
But more than anything, I want to thank my dad for going out of his way to make sure his little boy experienced that moment and helped spark a dream I was too scared to allow myself to have.
@sambaldoni you and mom have always helped me believe that anything is possible. I wouldn’t be making movies if you didn’t pass on your love of them to me and instill in me the belief that dreams really can come true.
I will thank you forever. Chicago O’hare Airport
Here’s a little #throwback from 16 years ago. I was on a beautiful show called Everwood where I played a medical student who was either shirtless or working out 50% of the time he was on screen.
But let’s go further…this pic was taken after a 12 hour shoot day and after 24 hours of barely eating or drinking and weeks of not eating carbs. Because the truth is that the guy people saw on screen was suffering from a problem that he helped perpetuate.
In my attempt to live up to some made up level of the ideal male body—an ideal that also paid my bills—I would put my body through hell just so it could look as lean and ripped as possible. So people would see my body and be attracted to it. So they would be attracted to me. Maybe if my body was enough then I would be enough.
I was never enough.
I struggled with #bodyimage issues and muscle dysmorphia before this role and still struggle with them today. I don’t know if it ever completely goes away…but what I know now that I didn’t know then, is that I am not alone in this struggle. Today, 43% of men are unhappy with their physical appearance. And those are just the men willing to admit it.
I’m super grateful that there is finally room to talk about these things. Check out the @wearemanenough @healthline podcast special we just dropped for #menshealthawarenessmonth It’s time to break the silence, and hopefully the stigma, and bring these conversations to the table.
Let’s shine a light on the men’s health issues that too often are shamed into the darkness. #NoMoreSilence #manenough
A few years ago, @giacomo_gianniotti reached out to me to simply show his support and encourage me on my own journey with #masculinity. I am still so touched by this mans heart and so grateful we finally got to meet in person to share space.
This man is the real deal—kind, humble, generous, sincere—and he was so down to be open about his own stories and struggles that it inspires me to keep going!

I want to be Wisdom when I grow up. Man, this guy brought his grounded sense of self and his incredible sense of style to the newest episode of The #ManEnoughPodcast and now I need a red velvet blazer.
Wisdom Kaye is breaking boundaries and undefining masculinity in the fashion world, but more than that, he’s a man who is honest, open, and on a journey to claiming his worth. I’m so glad we got to spend time together and that he could settle the debate once and for all by telling @jamey_heath that my long hair is “gorgeous.” 😉
I thought I had lost some of my joy, but I had just been looking for it in the wrong places.

To my brave, kind and loving Grandpa Danny who was one of the first men to teach me how to love. And to all those who have put on their uniforms and sacrificed to serve our country. Today we honor you and all veterans. Thank you for your service. ❤️
The tiniest tour guides give a @moderntinyliving tiny guest house tour 😂🏠
I believe tiny homes are the future 🙌🏼
So many millennials dream of owning a home, but that dream can feel out of reach in today’s housing market. Imagine if we could solve the un-housed homeless epidemic with #tinyhomes. If only I could snap my fingers and make that happen… that would be real magic. A world filled with more tiny houses rather than tents is a world I would love to see.
@moderntinyliving is the most popular tiny home builder in the country and they offer loans for anyone looking to add a guest house or build their first house. The prices are truly amazing for what you get. We cannot thank them enough for the beautiful craftsmanship they put into our little home. We are life long fans!❤️
P.S The Baldoni tiny is now open for reservations.
Man, I could say so much about @kiergaines, but I think @feministabulous said it best when she said he just embodies mindful masculinity. Kier is so present and connected to who he is (and who he is is so damn cool) and how he moves through the world. He’s a husband to the “bright light” that is @noemiegaines, a #GirlDad, a son raised surrounded by powerful women, an honest friend, and a therapist who is breaking all kinds of stigmas when it comes to mental health. But more than all of that, he is a human..and a damn good one at that.
I hope you’ll tune into this episode of The #ManEnoughPodcast and get to know Kier more, inevitably gain some wisdom, and hopefully learn something about yourself in the process. Out now on all platforms.

GIVEAWAY‼️
About six months ago I released my book and while it’s about my super personal journey, it’s also a collective story and in many ways, it’s a love letter to men. So, today on International Men’s Day, I want to give a few of you who haven’t read it a chance to.
So often we hear about the toxic ways men are showing up in the world, and most often it’s because of the systems that were created long before any of us were born and yet are still reinforced today. While we work to tear down those systems and rebuild ones that value our humanity, I also think it’s important to celebrate the healthy, kind, present ways men are showing up in the world. ➡️So to enter to win, comment below and share about a man who has shown up for you or for the world in a meaningful way. I will be choosing 20 of my favorite comments.
Let’s celebrate and encourage men by highlighting the goodness that the world often doesn’t. We could all use a little positivity and love today. 💛 #manenough

A world with @mrjasonowilson in it is a world worth being in… This man brings me so much hope, joy, and tears. Jason taught us to “Cry Like a Man,” and do it responsibly. This episode is incredibly special, and I truly felt like we went on a spiritual journey.
So often as men we suppress our feelings, and create these dams inside of us full of emotions. Eventually we will overflow with water and need a space in which we can release. Together we can create safe spaces for one another by being COURAGEOUSLY TRANSPARENT. We ALL deserve to be human and deserve the freedom to feel.
There is no better episode to let your emotions fly, there was not a dry eye in the room. Prep your tissues and cue the waterworks on this one. #ManEnough to cry. (PS if you listen to the episode you’ll know that research proves the BENEFITS of crying…let it out 😉)
An icon, a Black feminist author, and a woman who genuinely changed my life passed away today. One of my best friends introduced me to bell hooks and her book, “The Will To Change” challenged, comforted, and changed me. I am one of so many who will forever be grateful for the ripple effect that her work—her words—has had on my life.
I hope you will join me in honoring her life by reading one of her incredible books.
“Healing the crisis in the hearts of men requires of us all a willingness to face the fact that patriarchal culture has required of men that they be divided souls. We know that there are men who have not succumbed to this demand but that most men have surrendered their capacity to be whole. The quest for integrity is the heroic journey that can heal the masculinity crisis and prepare the hearts of men to give and receive love.”
—bell hooks
In other words- think about how our thoughts will impact the listener BEFORE they come out of our mouth. I first heard this quote ten years ago from a spiritual mentor/ friend and it has stuck with me ever since. I fail at this all the time, but this quote embodies a quality I strive for daily. I hope it hits you as hard as it hit me. May we all have discernment in how we use our words. They matter.
