Karthik Kumar Instagram – The wedding We insisted, argued, debated and convinced everyone, including ourselves that our wedding rituals would be those we invented, under a faith that we believe in ourselves, and not one that we need to inherit and transmit; and at a venue (home terrace) that means something to us and maybe only us. We invented a ceremony filled with love and wishes from the family-friends and made our parents the chief guests at our wedding. It was our wedding after all. We exchanged whatever we exchanged equally : I didn’t take her, and she didn’t take me : we had each other and this merely shared that everyday truth to all.
