Home Actor Platon HD Instagram Photos and Wallpapers December 2021 Platon Instagram - Dear friends, today is Human Rights Day – a time to reflect on the value of human dignity and freedom. As I get older, I am spending more and more of my time on human rights and civil rights issues around the world and honestly, I have never felt so inspired and motivated by my work as a storyteller and photographer. Today also marks the end of UNHCR’s 16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence. I am proud to have worked with my friends at UNHCR and the majestic Rupi Kaur. Here is the next short film from our special collaboration. Rupi’s resilient words open our hearts and our minds. Rupi Kaur, UNHCR, and all the survivors in the world, I salute you. #orangetheworld #16days #humanrightsday @rupikaur_ @refugees

Platon Instagram – Dear friends, the year is drawing to a close and I want to thank you all for joining me on this platform. I’ve really enjoyed sharing my thoughts and pictures with you, as well as reading all your kind comments of support and encouragement. I’m so proud of our community. We’ve shown an angry and divided world that we can be respectful and we can find common ground. It’s really important to raise sensitive and challenging issues in society, but to do it with a humble curiosity rather than dismissive judgement. Here is something fun and joyful. I dedicate these pictures to all my friends who are One Direction fans. I took these pictures some years ago at the peak of the band’s fame and power. They were all such lovely lads; kind, patient, calm and enthusiastic. They trusted me 100% and it shows in the pictures. I caught unique and authentic moments from them all. We took these pictures in an isolated hotel in the middle of the English countryside. The entire complex was cornered off by security guards. It was as if I was photographing a head of state or government. The last picture in this sequence is of Harry Styles. I recently took my daughter to see him at Madison Square Garden and honesty it was the highlight of my year. That night I saw my 15 year old daughter filled with joy and optimism, and it was beautiful to see her amongst a community that is optimistic and caring. We had a blast. Thank you, Harry for cheering us all up during these difficult times. I wish you all a happy holiday and let us think of all those who have lost loved ones and friends recently. The human spirit is so resilient, and we will get through this together. To all my followers, I salute you.
Platon Instagram – Dear friends, I want to share something close to my heart. Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy is from Pakistan, and she is one of the world’s greatest film directors. Her powerful, provocative documentaries compel us to have important conversations about women’s rights and gender justice around the world. She is the only female director to have won two Academy Awards by the age of 37. In the last 20 years, she has made 24 award-winning films in 16 different countries. I guess that’s why TIME Magazine included her in their 100 most influential people list. I first met Sharmeen at Davos many years ago and we became instant friends, but I must be honest, I don’t think I really knew her until recently when I invited her to my New York studio for a portrait session. Before I took this picture we sat down and had an honest conversation about her values. Suddenly, I felt the true force of power and humanity from her heart. I decided with my team to film our entire session so that I could share with the world the inspiration I feel from Sharmeen. So friends, it is with great pride that I share with you all for the first time this short film honoring Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy. I hope this lifts your spirits as we close out a difficult year. Sharmeen, I salute you.
