Tonight we got to share All My Puny Sorrows with the world. Mike McGowan directed, @sarahgadon and #marewinningham and @thealymawji act their faces off, @danielgrant_dp made some beautiful pictures, and it’s based on the most glorious book by #miriamtoews . So I got dressed up in a number by @ryanrocheny and @simoneotis and @the.topknot made me fancy. Then Miriam and I got to finally meet in person and it was magical. It feels miraculous to be around humans again in a theatre (masked and tested and vaccinated), and sharing the work we created last year. So thank you to @tiff_net for the wonderful evening.

And this is also a thank you to those who voted for me in the SAG-AFTRA election. I’m honoured to serve with a bunch of other awesome folks on the LA board. I promise to bring these vibes to that new gig. And hopefully we wind up with a bucketful of rad after we work our butts off.

Oh my goodness. Please go see @slaveplaybway ! @jeremyoharris and this cast have done such incredible, beautiful work, and they’re back on Broadway for a few months! Go while you have the chance. It is funny and a punch in the gut and exciting and will leave you thinking and stewing and full of feelings. This was my first time back at the theatre, and what a joy to witness it.

This brilliant book by @dashaunlh is an illuminating read that I can’t stop thinking about. And a great foreword by @kieselaymon (of course). Get it from @reparations.club , their turnaround is so quick and you won’t be adding to the nonsense of certain larger internet everything stores.
