The RACISM towards the black players in England team is COMPLETELY SICKENING. I’m so fed up of thugs that call themselves fans ! And how the media handles sport- as if they OWN these player. The abuse they are getting has to be acted on and condemned at EVERY LEVEL. This should be NUMBER 1 on the government’s agenda. My poem has been published 💯 During the pandemic, ones mental health is being challenged more than ever. Lack of social contact, financial & work pressures are pushing people to a limit & it is more important than ever to use daily practices that will keep ones head above the water. I find being in fresh air, green spaces, smiling (even at myself in the mirror ) & eating nutritious food are practices that help me. And being in water like in my poem. What are you doing during this pandemic to help keep you afloat ?

My Poem. I am working with the Imperial Health Charity to raise money for 2 pieces of artwork for the walls of the Gary Weston centre, which is where my mum had her chemotherapy. I hope the art will give people joy to the cancer patients being treated there as my mum gave joy to everyone around her. I’ve written this poem and will post a link shortly, if you are able to contribute a few pounds would be great. Otherwise hope you like the poem.
