Lisa Ray Instagram – We bid goodbye to a year that was not kind, by conjuring all the kindness possible. But quietly, under our breath. I have never been more fully in service of my family and others than now. It looks and feels nothing like what I thought. All I can say is so many of my gaps have been filled. I still have a preoccupation with gaps – the fissures within the self. That’s what drives me to reflect and create, to express and write. It’s the essence of being human, I suppose. But oh what grace it is to know the closing between desire and fulfilment on a personal plane. For that I am ever grateful to my family.
