Two years later, as COP26 is underway, a reminder that the word “economy” actually means “house management”. That home — the one we all share and which supports all lifeforms, is Planet Earth 🌺
The economy and ecology must then be understood as one and the same, rather than as two polar opposites “fighting” each other.
For me it’s about agreeing to establish new metrics that work harmoniously with both.

« Commençons par renforcer la taxe carbone, prônons la sobriété en terme de consommation, recyclons tout ce qui peut l’être, soyons moins égoïstes, cessons cette hypocrisie pour nous donner bonne conscience. Notre économie est basée à plus de 80% sur l’énergie fossile : cela doit changer. On sait produire du gaz avec des algues – une énergie circulaire et 100% verte. Une première expérience a été menée en Équateur et un projet bien avancé à l’initiative de la fondation Zeri a été lancé en Argentine. L’hydrogène est aussi très prometteur pour le secteur des transports (voitures, trains, bateaux) puisqu’il représente une très faible pollution. Ayons le courage de revoir notre manière d’être qui est présentement en rupture avec l’environnement. »
