Evelyn Edwards Instagram – Our amazing time in Scotland is coming to an end …. FOR NOW! We have had such an amazing time exploring this gorgeous country for the last two months. This bridge was built in the late 1700s after the Battle of Culloden by the English as part of a massive road and bridge network to allow easier movement for their troops. This area was a resting place for drovers taking cattle from the west of Scotland to markets in the south. The walk around the Black Water River may be one of the most scenic places I’ve ever seen…and I’ve seen some pretty darn gorgeous places. *
